Assuming something like that, then 5,000 viewers is roughly 1% of Welsh-speakin population, 1% of UK (English-speaking population) is 600,000 - maybe that's worth keeping in mind. <br /><br />Of course S4C has to be all these channels listed above on one platform, with half the budget of Channel 5 ... and without the luxury of buying in excellent American sit-coms which is cheaper than producing your own stuff. In the small pockets of Ire...I used to love Sgorio. In the small pockets of Ireland which could pick up Welsh TV by aerial it was cult viewing. At one stage it was the only place to watch top European league action. Way ahead of it's time.
