The Live Daily Show/Colbert special on NOW, video streaming people/Americans who found this blog by mistake. That's where we're stealing all our jokes from for the next six hours.
Betting update:
Obama: 1-1000
McCain: 80-1
And how stingy does that 80-1 seem now?
[update not worth a new post]
BBC News reporting Obama with 50% of the popular vote, to McCain's 49%. While that sounds close, it's (we think) the first time the democrats will take more than 50% of the popular vote since 1960. We may well be wrong on that.

You've craftily edited "51% / 48%" to "50% / 49%" but have left the rest of the paragraph unchanged. I read you every election.
Ach! The cruel twist is that the BBC have since updated the figures to what I'd originally said, but now you've made that comment I can't go back.
I have had two hours sleep in the last 40 hours. Sugar-free Red Bull can only do so much. Also, I don't actually know what I'm doing.
Don't give up now, Broken Mark! We love you!
(HORDES OF BROKEN TV FANS EVERYWHERE PITCH IN CHEERILY, CRIBBING POSTS FROM WONKETTE, KNOCKING OVER VALUABLE MUXTAPE HEIRLOOMS, ETC. THE WHOLE SCENE IS QUITE AWFUL.)
Scheduling news! The last ten minutes have seen one of the most important watermarks in the entire history of the USA. Comedy Central are marking the occasion by broadcasting a repeat showing of the programme they had shown for the preceding hour.
Granted, it's only Comedy Central.
